Maria Tahir Chaudhary is an Advocate High Court and practicing legal professional with experience in diverse areas of law. She is committed to providing professional, research-oriented, and effective legal services, with a particular emphasis on advocacy, legal education, professional training, and access to justice.

She holds a BA-LL.B. (Hons.) degree and an LL.M., reflecting her strong academic foundation and commitment to advanced legal learning. She has also worked with the Additional Advocate General, Sindh, where she gained valuable professional exposure to constitutional, governmental, and public-law matters.

Maria has served as an Associate Partner at Lexa Legal Law Firm, where she developed substantial experience in legal practice, professional advisory work, and litigation-related matters. Her role further strengthened her ability to handle diverse legal issues and work collaboratively within a professional legal environment.

In addition to her legal practice, Maria is an accredited Commissioner for Recording Evidence by the Sindh Judicial Academy, authorized to undertake proceedings relating to the recording of evidence in accordance with applicable law. Her professional profile also extends to legal, investigative, and capacity-building training. She has served as a part-time trainer at the Police School of Investigation, contributing to the professional development of law-enforcement personnel in the areas of investigation, law, and related legal procedures.

Maria has also conducted and facilitated training programs in collaboration with various NGOs, sharing her legal knowledge and practical experience with professionals and community organizations. She is a Master Trainer on Gender-Based Violence with The Asia Foundation, contributing to awareness, capacity building, and professional training in this important area.
